Rylan's New Present

For Rylan's birthday my mom ordered her a rocking chair. Ry loves the rocking chair mom has at her house that my sisters and I used when we were little. She and her cousin Ella already fight over it. Whoever is sitting in it gets a smack and a "no, no" from the girl who wants to be in it!! The chair mom picked ended up being on back order for a long time and she finally cancelled out on it and chose a new one. It finally came on Tuesday night. Mom picked it up in town after bible study, which I had missed because Rylan and I were both feeling cruddy. She had thrown up for the first time ever during dinner. Lovely. When mom came by with it that evening Rylan was already in bed. I told Shaun I was going to wake her up so she could see it and he didn't want me to, but I did it anyway! It was well worth my rebelling--she got the biggest kick out of it. She would sit in it, then get out and go love on her Mema, then go squealing back to it. It was pretty funny. The pictures aren't great as Shaun took them with his new BlackBerry and hasn't quite figured out how to use it. Anyway, enjoy the pics or Rylan and her new chair. Oh, and Rylan was still pretty sick yesterday but her daddy was home to take care of her. From what I hear today she is still wanting to do lots of cuddling and cat naps but is on the mend!

Tennessee and Easter

I'm not even going to try and write out all that has been happening in our lives the last couple of weeks. It would take forever to type and you would fall asleep trying to read it all! We had a great trip to Tennessee-beat the weather and then enjoyed some great days visiting family and friends. We were there until Thursday, spent Friday at home catching up on laundry and went to Sheridan Saturday! We gathered at Daunee' and Damion's house to celebrate Easter and had a super time there, too! Rylan woos people wherever she goes. Waving and saying "hi" is her favorite thing to do anywhere we go. She gets a response a great amount of the time thus leading us to meet a plethora of people and hear lots of stories! She is a full time walker now. Her attempts to run, though, aren't working out and she bites it when she tries. We are back in the swing of things at home now with work and finally enjoying the Wyoming spring weather. Hopefully it sticks around. Enjoy a sampling of the oodles of pics we took!
